File permission problem with File:Palestenian baby.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Palestenian baby.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. multichill (talk) 20:08, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
The article East Kurdistan Defence Forces has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Because article fails to meet the relevant notability guideline , Content fork of Iran–PJAK conflict , cannot be attributed to reliable sources, including neologisms and poorly written.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Alborz Fallah (talk) 10:45, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Request for support
editAsalamalikum Dear Wikipedian,
I'm Hooperag, a fellow Wikipedian of yours and a fellow Muslim of yours. In this email I would like to ask for your support in my efforts to bring proper respect to Prophet Muhammad and the religion of Islam in Wikipedia articles.
Recently I have been working on articles about religious figures of Islam like Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.), and Imam Hussain ibn Ali (a.s.), in these articles have added appropriate terms for their respect like changing "Muhammad" to "Prophet Muhammad" and such... As in Islam we are obliged to mention these people’s names with respect, this must also reflect in text.
Unfortunately, however some Wikipedia editors are undoing all these efforts with the claim that such honorary prefixes are biased and violating of Wikipedia’s neutrality. This however could not be farther from the truth.
There are 1.6 billion Muslims on this planet, over 23% of the world’s total population. Tens of thousands of Wikipedia editors are Muslims and hundreds of thousands of Wikipedia readers are Muslims. With so many Muslims how can we let our beloved prophet and his companions be disrespected on the world’s largest encyclopedia?
Wikipedia claims they maintain such a policy to support freedom of speech and fight censorship. However I say that this gives no right for disrespect towards 1.6 billion humans’ prophet and religion. If we are to let things continue like this we will only find our religion and prophet further disrespected on Wikipedia in the coming times.
Things don’t need to be this way. I request your support as a fellow Muslim to voice your support for the usage of respectful terminology regarding the religion of Islam and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on Wikipedia.
Please visit the following link: [Link] and visit the section titled “Request for Respect of our Religion and our Prophet”. Once you are there comment and voice your support!
Please pass this message to as many Wikipedians as you know!
WaalaikumSalam

editDelete Kazakhs. They are not related to page. Also if you want to represent kurds, add nBarzani, Fuad Masum, Leyla Zana bla bla instead criminals and buzz people. lf you do it again, i will report you. Criminals shouldnt be added. No one adds al-baghdadi or al qaeda leaders to arabs infibox. Or no one adds agop agopian to armenians bla bla. So whats next? You want to add jundullah's leader? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mellonör (talk • contribs) 10:25, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
Here is not your blog. Also the issue is beyond my political view. This is an established fact. As i said if you do it again, i will report you because of your disruptuve edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mellonör (talk • contribs) 10:38, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
l did not said that you did something illegal. l have just said that it is not a constructive edit and i showed you examples of other articles' infoboxes. For these reasons your edit will be reverted soon by another users too. l have gave you some suggestions to solve this problem.

Thanks for your edit on Greater Iran where you updated the map correctly to include a large area of Turkey. Could you also add North Ossetia? This is a predominantly Ossetian inhabited place, and thus needs to be coloured too ;-)

editPlease stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Taq Bostan.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. I'm giving you this formal warning as no one else has done so yet. This is not the first time either you're similar stuff.[1]-[2]. Taq Bostan has nothing to do with "Kurds" or the "Kurdish language". So, please stop re-adding the Kurdish translation, or even worse, as you did, removing and replacing the Persian translation with a Kurdish one. If you do so again, I'm afraid I will have to report you to ANI for blatant disruptive editing. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 20:33, 1 July 2016 (UTC)

- I don't know if you're actually trying to be serious (I hope not), but I can find sources that mention the site of Machu Pichu in Korean -- doesnt meant Korea, Koreans or the Korean language have anything to do with it however. Its simply the translation in that language. Nothing more, nothing less. Taq e bostan was built by a non-Kurdish dynasty, who spoke a non-Kurdish language and its nowadays still located in a country whose official language is non-Kurdish. Therefore, the Kurdish translation simply does not belong there. - LouisAragon (talk) 00:40, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
@LouisAragon it is your own opinion. Because that official language of Iran is Persian so Taq bostan is Persian (lol).but do u have source for this?there are many things in Iran which have non Farsi names. Iran is a country with many ethnics it is not only for Farsi spoken people.please don't revert articles which were not accepted with your own opinion. Taq Bostan is official name for this and it writed on signs but people and sources said Taq wa san means arch made of stone. I think it's better that we write both of them and name of article will be Taq Bostan.

File copyright problem with File:ChurchKermanshah.JPG
editThank you for uploading File:ChurchKermanshah.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 00:17, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
@AntiCompositeNumber Hi. I added license text.Hosseiniran (talk) 09:09, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Hosseiniran! Thank you for trying to get this done correctly, but there is still a problem. Wikipedia requires you to choose a license when you upload a file, and tag the file page with the appropriate template. This license sets out rules explaining what other people can do with your work, and is a necessary part of the image's use. Unfortunately, you did not use any license tag on the file page to show what license you are releasing the photo under. If you would like to still retain rights to the image, you can pick one of the many licenses from WP:ICT/FL ({{Cc-by-sa-4.0}} is suggested by Wikipedia). If you wish to waive all rights to the image, you can use {{Cc-zero}} to indicate that. The image is still subject to deletion after August 13 without the proper license tag. If you have any questions, or need assistance, you can ping me on your talk page or leave a message on mine. AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 19:24, 11 August 2016 (UTC)

editYour recent editing history at Kalhor (Iranian tribe) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Speedy deletion nomination of Khazen al-Dowla
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Khazen al-Dowla requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. KDS4444 (talk) 20:23, 21 July 2017 (UTC)

Hello! I wanted to let you know that I've changed the article Alberuni's India to redirect readers to the article on the author Eduard Sachau. This is because I couldn't find evidence that the book meets WP:NBOOK, the guideline by which we decide which books should have articles on them. Take a look at the guideline, and if you think I'm just dense and missing something (very possible) let me know and we can work on putting together an improved version of the article. Otherwise, I hope you continue to contribute to articles on the topic, as many of our current articles could use a lot of work. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to ask. Happy editing! Ajpolino (talk) 20:59, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Ajpolino: Hello sir. actually, this book is one his famous works. but I don't how can I prove it's notability in English Wikipedia. the book is really well known in Iran and there is Persian article of the book. there are some information in university of Cambridge website about the book. --– Hossein Iran « talk » 15:49, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for your response! The decision about whether or not a book should have an article on the English Wikipedia is based entirely on whether it can be shown to meet the guideline Wikipedia:Notability (books) (called WP:NBOOK for short) or the more generalized Wikipedia:Notability#General_notability_guideline. WP:NBOOK lays out specific markers for books which are a bit easier to judge. If you look at that page, you will see there are five criteria and meeting just one of them is sufficient to indicate the book should have an article written about it here. If you can find evidence that the book meets one of those criteria, then I'm happy to help you to write and improve an article on it. If not, then it's probably best it remain a redirect to Eduard Sachau and you're more than welcome to add material about the book to that article or to Al-Biruni. Also just a note, sources for meeting the criteria on WP:NBOOK do NOT have to be in English. So if you can find good sources in another language, that's just fine. Let me know if you have questions. Happy editing! Ajpolino (talk) 20:13, 1 February 2018 (UTC)
