Please update your status with WP:VG

edit

Dear WikiProject Video games member,

You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in the recent months.

The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.

All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:

Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.

Rollback

edit

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. decltype (talk) 08:29, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey there Heavyweight Gamer :). Congratulations on getting rollback :). You just beat me to reverting, so good work :). By the way, have you heard of HG? It allows very fast recent changes patrolling, and automatic warning of vandals. Plus, it would go with your name! If you do decide to download it, feel free to ask any questions, just be careful with overuse ;). Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 11:13, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I just found out that you've done three edits with it? Any reason you decided not to use it? Or just not your style? :) - Kingpin13 (talk) 11:15, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! About Huggle, it's rather different to what I'm used to, so I'm still trying to adjust to it. I like it so far, though, so I'd like to experiment more with it. And I must admit, it does go well with my username. Heavyweight Gamer (talk) 11:22, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

RfD of Assassin's Creed III

edit

Hello, you recently participated in an AfD for Assassin's Creed III which closed as "speedy redirect". I have created a redirect discussion to gain consensus on whether a redirect is suitable at the time, or whether it would be better to remain as a red link until more concrete information is available. Please feel free to contribute here: Wikipedia:RfD#Assassin.27s_Creed_III. Hope this helps, --Taelus (talk) 14:35, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Since you participated in the DRV for Secret Maryo Chronicles, you may be interested in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Secret Maryo Chronicles (3 nomination). Tim Song (talk) 07:39, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey there Heavyweight Gamer, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free files are not allowed in the user or talk-space. Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:35, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
