I notice that one of the first articles you edited was Eastern Florida State College, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. One firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Username

Hello. Could you please clarify the meaning of your username? It contains the word "webmaster", which implies that it is tied to a position within an organization and not an individual person. Wikipedia's username policy does not permit "role" accounts. Thanks. --Drm310 (talk) 21:06, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

The username is just for me personally -- that's my name and I am a webmaster -- I tried using just my name but it already existed and just adding numbers was not easy enough for me to remember. The account is not for the college where I work just me. If it's a problem -- I can ask to have it changed or just cancel it and create a new one. I started one article because the college (Brevard Community College) is changing its name on July 1 to Eastern Florida State College. Someone suggested merging the two articles -- the one on BCC is woefully out of date and because of Wikipedia rules it seems like I should not update it if I work there. I'd advise you to request a change of username, just to remove the "webmaster" part. Doing that will alleviate any concerns that your account is shared by others.
