Speedy deletion nomination of Beach Bunny Swimwear

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Beach Bunny Swimwear requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Talpatra (talk) 14:59, 21 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

How dare you convert an article (Lotus throne) to the appalling sfn style, in total breach of WP:CITEVAR, without leaving any hint of of what you are doing in edit summaries. This is seriously bad behaviour, & you should be blocked. Johnbod (talk) 16:54, 12 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Johnbod, I suggest you read up on WP:NPA. Your messages here and elsewhere are troubling; from what I can tel Evrik did what they felt was best for the article, which is perfectly acceptable. Hello Evrik:

WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in June 2024!

Running from June 1 to 30, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Going Back in Time! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 20 centuries by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

We hope to see you there!

Generally, repeat socks, meaning the master has already been blocked, are blocked indefinitely. However, masters are often blocked temporarily, sometimes, depending on the circumstances, not blocked at all, on a first-time offense.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:08, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I can't and won't speak for Guerillero, and I have not reviewed the CU data, but if those edits were reverted purely on the grounds of WP:SOCKSTRIKE, I would suggest that the reverts were not appropriate. SOCKSTRIKE is about clearing up after the sock of an already blocked account - in essence, undoing edits that should never have been made. Whatever it is that Evrik has done that warranted a temporary block, it does not affect edits they made prior to the block being imposed; I would ask Left guide to reinstate those edits if there was not another reason for reverting them (certainly none was given in the edit summary). Hi, I see you've contributed a lot to Galician mythology, would you be interested in a taskforce on oral tradition? Kowal2701 (talk) 14:56, 4 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Women in Green's "Around the World in 31 Days" GA Editathon – October 2024

edit

Hello Evrik:

WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in October 2024!

Running from October 1 to 31, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Around the World in 31 Days! We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 countries (or broader international articles) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

We hope to see you there!

The article List of streets in the San Gabriel Valley has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

the content is that of a navigation box or category page, not an article

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:04, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Inquiry About Adding Camp Minsi to the Historically Notable Scout Camps Page

edit

Hi Evrik,

I’m the historian for Camp Minsi, a Scout camp in Pennsylvania, and I’d like to add it (or have it added) to the "Oldest Boy Scout Camps of the BSA" section of the Historically Notable Scout Camps page. However, I want to make sure it qualifies before making any changes. Are you the page owner?

Camp Minsi has a long history but has moved locations a couple of times:

Founded in 1919: Camp Minsi was originally established along the banks of the Delaware River at the Delaware Water Gap.

First Move (1927): The original property was sold to another Scout council, forcing the camp to relocate to Lake Tobyhanna in the Poconos.

Second Move (1949): The Lake Tobyhanna property was also sold. However, the owner donated another piece of land at Lake Stillwater, also in the Poconos. The camp opened on that site in 1950, initially on the southern shore of the lake.

Current Facility (1957): The council raised funds to build the permanent camp facilities on the same property, which remain in use today.

Despite these moves, the camp has always been operated by the same council, with the same staff, and served the same Scouts throughout its history. While the land we occupy now has been in use since 1950, Camp Minsi was founded in 1919 and has maintained continuous operation.

Given this history, does Camp Minsi qualify for inclusion on the list? I’d appreciate your thoughts or guidance before proceeding.

Thank you! Tbroke72 (talk) 22:07, 22 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
