Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Wade Wilson (film character). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Its not disrupting Wikipedia? Im adding the ref notes to the character bio and removing the (original timeline) and (new timeline) to make it look neater. Sorry its not part of your liking. (a)nnihilation97 03:26, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Copying licensed material requires attribution

edit

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Draft:Avengers (Marvel Cinematic Universe) you included material from a website that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 21:29, 21 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Steve-O: Gnarly moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Steve-O: Gnarly, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption.   Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. A tag has been placed on Category:Characters adapted into the Marvel Cinematic Universe requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2016_January_2#Category:Characters_that_are_apart_of_the_Marvel_Cinematic_Universe. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Copying within Wikipedia

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from The Incredible Hulk (film) into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 23:50, 23 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

MCU Disney CGI Characters Category

Hello. Out of interest, why did you remove the Disney CGI characters category from the MCU character pages I added it to? The characters are owned by Disney, and they are created with CGI for Disney films, so I'm not sure why the category was removed. The category for Star Wars CGI characters is also listed as a subcategory for CGI Disney characters, so I’m not sure why the Disney CGI characters category would not also apply to MCU characters. The Editor 155 (talk) 17:45, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello (a)nnihilation97, I was wondering why you created a article for the The Munsters (2022 film) when I created a draft months ago at Draft:The Munsters (upcoming film).   Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give :Draft:The Munsters (upcoming film) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into :The Munsters (2022 film). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). Thank you.

New DCAU Article Feedback

Hello (a)nnihilation97, the copy editor User:AngusWOOF is reviewing a draft of a new DCAU article I am trying to have published. He has directed me to seek the feedback of people like you who have edited the DCAU page in the past to provide feedback as to whether or not you believe the content I included is something Wikipedia readers interested in the DCAU would find value in. Mainly the copy editing team would like feedback on the table depicting chronological narrative viewing order. I would appreciate it if you can review my inquiry and the draft article and inform if you think the content is of value to those who may be reading about or wanting to watch the DCAU. This will help get the copy editing team the feedback they need to proceed with either an approve or decline decision. Thanks for your feedback.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Deadpool 3. Do not add Kinberg Genre again. Just because we have a source confirming Kinberg's involvement DOES NOT mean that, automatically, his company is involved in the film. Assuming such without any actual evidence is a violation of WP:SYNTH and is WP:Original research. I will only be lenient for so long, though your continued unsourced additions and ignoring when someone reverts your edits is becoming disruptive.   Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths (film) into another page. Thank you. Indagate (talk) 14:17, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

MCU Character Drafts

edit

Hey, I thought you were aware of WP:MCUCHARACTERS, though your recent draft submissions appear to indicate otherwise. Most of those drafts are fairly incomplete and not notable characters, some of which have been rejected before, and some you have not been am major contributor to to warrant making the call to submit them. MCUCHARACTES states:

There is local consensus that an MCU character only warrants its own article if one or more of the following criteria is met:

 • The character has made at least four non-cameo appearances in films and/or television series
 • The character has appeared in a film or television series in a titular or lead role
 • The character is an original MCU character not adapted from the comics (see category), as long as notability can be proven for them

The criteria for appearances is to provide a clearly delineated standard for justifying these articles as separate from their comics counterparts. There is no deadline that needs to be met for such articles. Such articles should be incubated in draftspace until they meet this criteria and satisfy WP:GNG, including being discussed in reliable sources beyond a trivial mention. Focus on real world details such as the casting, characterization and reception of the character. Once a draft for a character seems ready for mainspace, a discussion should be held on either the draft's talkpage, the taskforce talkpage, or at Talk:Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to establish consensus on the readiness of the draft, upon which the draft will be moved to mainspace by a page mover. Submitting the draft to AfC is neither necessary nor advisable, as AfC reviewers may not be aware of this task force's local consensus.

None of those drafts met these requirements. Please do not just submit drafts without doing the necessary work to improve them, and just be patient and wait for characters to appear more before submitting newer characters. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:48, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

I will note that repeatedly submitting incomplete drafts to the mainspace without constructively improving them and ignoring consensus on what qualifies for an article can be seen as disruptive behavior. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:49, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Congrats Trailblazer101. Its always either your way or no way. - (a)nnihilation97 20:50, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
This is per the consensus at the MCU taskforce. If you can't follow it, then that may be a problem. I am not the sole determinator of that consensus. If you have a problem with it, take it to WT:MCU. All articles ought to meet WP:GNG criteria and the consensus of the taskforce, not just because you think they should be moved. Also, your recent multiverse list draft is also highly improper and not notable, and should not have been moved to the mainspace as it is a blatant WP:CONTENTFORK of the multiverse article with many unsourced details throughout. This is not a WP:TVGUIDE or fan wiki. We have higher standards on here. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:56, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
You relentless stalking of my page is highly improper and not notable. - (a)nnihilation97 20:58, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I watch all drafts made of MCU content. As a member of the MCU taskforce, that is not unusual. You have a history of ignoring consensus and making and recreating content that has been deleted per consensus in the past, so I have had your user page in my watchlist because of that. If you cannot follow simple guidelines and consensus and repeatedly recreate content you shouldn't, you may not be a good fit for this taskforce. Trailblazer101 (talk) 21:04, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Seriously?! After I warned you not to submit these drafts without improving them, you have re-submitted Draft:Pepper Potts (Marvel Cinematic Universe) without actually working on the draft to address the mainspace criteria? I will only say this one more time, you cannot simply submit a draft for AfC just because you think it should be in the mainspace, drafts need to meet the WP:GNG and WP:MCUCHARACTERS criteria and any requests to submit these drafts (which are splits of pre-existing articles) need to be discussed first. Trailblazer101 (talk) 21:33, 2 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
