Hello, world!
I am Teutonophile. I study history as a hobby, particularly Anglo-Saxon history and the American Revolutionary War. Although I am not formally educated in any field of history, I value historical accuracy, proper research, and thoroughness in my studies. I am also writing a book on Anglo-Saxon history, mostly as a recreational project, but I hope that it can educate others about that intriguing period of English history. Other than history, I like to think about and consider deep and complex topics like theology and philosophy, and I enjoy studying military tactics, strategy, and linguistics.
Anglo-Saxon Studies
editJust over a year ago, I did some surface-level research on Anglo-Saxon Society because I heard about the Witenagemot system, which I found very intriguing. Ever since then, I've been spending time and money researching the Anglo-Saxons. So about a month or two ago, I decided I would write a book about the Anglo-Saxons. This book would cover every aspect of the Anglo-Saxons thoroughly, and structure the information in an intriguing and attention-grabbing format. I am still in the process of extensive research, which means compiling the works of archaeologists and contemporary and modern historians to create an accurate and detailed story of one of the most important periods in English history.
American Revolutionary War Studies
editMore recently, I've been researching the American Revolutionary War. This was spurred on by a trip I did last summer to Virginia and Massachusetts. As soon as I walked among the verdant grass fields of Concord, where the first shot was fired in that monumental war, I fell in love with the history of the American Revolution. And so, my studies began there, right on the grounds where the first martyrs of American freedom died.
Other Studies
editOther than history, as previously mentioned, I also explore theology. I am a Christian (Not of any particular denomination) and so, I mainly focus on Christian theology.
