Melanie E. Hughes is a Librarian and Coordinator of Automation and Technical Services at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana. She is a life-long learner, starting her Wikipedia career with an entry on inventory (library) as an off-shoot of Preservation (library and archival science), a requirement for a Preservation course taught by Jacob J. Nadal, head of the Preservation Program at UCLA at Indiana University Bloomington's School of Library and Information Science in the summer of 2009.
