k4_pacific is a Wikipedian who lives in Dayton, Ohio. He has been writing articles for Wikipedia sporadically since August of 2004. His interests include railroading, folk music, politics, civil engineering, computers, and other stuff.
Early life
editk4_pacific was born in Kettering, Ohio, home of Edward Deeds (I can't belive there's no article about him. I should write one. Maybe later.) He moved several times during his childhood, but never left the southwestern Ohio area. He lived in West Carrollton, Ohio, Miamisburg, Ohio, and Carlisle, Ohio while growing up. Fascinated by the trivial aspects of history, k4_pacific spent his spare time in the library, and on archaeological expeditions to find the remnants of America's industrial past. He knows where Dayton Union Station used to be and knows where the Miami and Erie Canal and the Cincinnati and Lake Erie Railroad passed through the area.
Adulthood
editAs a young adult, k4_pacific discovered the internet and realized that typing in the third person sounded weird. Later, I discovered Wikipedia and created this page.
