I spent many years working for large companies before going out on my own. Now I am retired and spend my time on projects I enjoy and travelling. One of my projects has been a local history of Combe Down. Another has been the life story of my father, Robert E. Hill.

In both of these I found Wikipedia extraordinarily useful as a reference work to which to send website visitors via links.

Now I spend a small amount of my time trying to improve the detail and accuracy of pages in areas where I have some knowledge and interest in so doing.
