I'm Walt Bilofsky. I founded The Software Toolworks, an early personal computer software publisher, in 1980. In the 1980s the Toolworks created and published The Chessmaster and Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing.
As of 2015 I am president of the Treasure Island Museum on Treasure Island, San Francisco.
I was on the board of Americans for Nonsmokers' Rights and its predecessors from 1978 to 2015, and its president from June 1987 to May 1989.
As of 2015 I am Webmaster of the Tiburon Yacht Club at Paradise Cay, Tiburon, CA, and was its Commodore in 2003. I hold an inactive Masters license from the United States Coast Guard.
