Rowland Hill Eadie (9 August 1905 - March 1991) was a Scottish painter.[1]

His father was the Rev. James Eadie, son of Rowland Hill Eadie of the Campsies.[6]

His mother was Lizzie Euphemia Gall, daughter of Rev. J. Gall. James and Lizzie married in Rutherglen on 4 October 1904.[7]

Rowland Hill Eadie was born on 9 August 1905 at Walston manse in South Lanarkshire.[8][9]

He married Ruby Macmillan, the stepdaughter of Mr. P Ferries. They married on 18 December 1928 at the U. F. Church in Cults.

He was an insurance official by trade.[10]

Death

He died in March 1991 at Aberdeen Royal Infimary.[12]

He left over £110,000 in his estate.[13]
