Alexander Graham Munro (5 January 1903 - 9 August 1985) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was James Milne Bell Munro (4 February 1863 - 22 February 1942), a grocer from Glasgow.
His mother was Euphemia Graham (15 April 1861 - 29 May 1934) from Perth. James and Euphemia married on 18 March 1896 in Perth.
Alexander Graham Munro was born on 5 January 1903 in Mid Calder, Midlothian.
He married the artist Ruth Fanshawe Moorwood (born c. 1905), daughter of Hedley Stanley Moorwood. They married on 4 June 1932 in Sheffield, England. Ruth had studied at the Edinburgh College of Art.[3]

editHe died on 9 August 1985 at the Royal Infimary in Edinburgh. The funeral was on 13 August 1985 at Warriston cemetery.[5]
