Thomas Hunt (1854 - 13 March 1929) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was John Hunt (c. 1819 - 26 February 1900), a canal agent and limestone merchant from Much Hoole in Lancashire, England.
His mother was Betty Wood (c. 1821- 1873) from Bradford, Yorkshire, England. John and Betty married on 29 August 1848 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.
Thomas Hunt was born in Skipton, Yorkshire, England c. 1854.[3]

editHe died on 13 March 1929 in the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow. The funeral was on the 16 February 1929. The value of his estate was recorded as £1889, 12 shillings and 3 pence.[6][7]
