James Cadzow (30 October 1881 - 11 June 1941) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life
editHis father was James Cadzow [Snr.] (born c. 1847), a farmer from Craighead, Carluke.
His mother was Janet Young (born c. 1843) from Lesmahagow. James [Snr.] and Janet married in 1871 in Carluke, South Lanarkshire.
James Cadzow was born on 30 October 1881 in Carluke.

editHe collapsed and died on 11 June 1941 at the starter's box at Monifieth golf course.[2] His usual address was Leebank, 2 Balmoyle Road, Broughty Ferry.[3]
The funeral was at Carluke cemetery.[8]
