Jane Eliza Sprinks (c. 1 October 1837 - 1 December 1925) was a Scottish painter.[1]

Her father was William Henry Sprinks of London.[5]

Her mother was Eliza Burnett. William and Eliza married on 5 May 1835 in Lambeth, London.

Jane Eliza Sprinks was their second daughter. She was baptised in Lambeth, London on 1 October 1837.

She married John Stewart Smith (7 February 1832 - 18 May 1921), a carver and gilder from Edinburgh.[6] They married on 6 June 1864 in Edinburgh at 19 Union Street.[7][8]

She died on 1 December 1925 at Fairyville, 82 Argyle Crescent in Portobello, Edinburgh.[9]

The funeral was on 4 December 1925 at Piershill cemetery.[10]
