editHow did luther remove them from power.--129.128.235.97 22:32, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
- Exactly, the article says Luther "defeated" them. Not very clear. Was there a gunfight or were lightsabres involved? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.236.161.174 (talk) 07:57, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
No guns or weapons involved. he simply blasted them in his writings and sermons. Luther believed (Correctly) that these "Prophets" were a little crazy. Luther did not like the way they misled the German people. Mrwilliams net (talk) 20:22, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Can someone explain to me, how the belief of adult baptism is anti catholic. i view rather as a different believe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.231.42.45 (talk) 20:44, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
Abecedarian merge
editI really feel that it's better if the Abecedarian page stays separate from this one. Whomever put up the merge template didn't start a discussion as it is. :/ SilverserenC 19:46, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, there is no reason to merge them. I will remove the label.--Sanya3 (talk) 20:28, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
Disturbing the Peace?
editThe Events section on December 27th links here, claiming that the Zwickau Prophets disturbed the peace. Here the entry says they were possibly involved in a disturbance, and later that their presence may have caused an unrest. The nature of this event is completely missing. It is disappointing for Wikipedia to engage in such sensationalism. Can someone tell us what these fellows actually did to merit these accusations? Dj2r-wp (talk) 17:29, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
