editI apologise i I have missed something obvious, but as far as I can tell all of the page is in the wikipedia markup --Topperfalkon (talk) 19:00, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Picture
editSee if this picture can be interesting for this page. Adding pictures would be horribble!!! Aelwyn (talk) 12:59, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- What is the function of the trichromes? Here is a possible use of this image, but I'm not sure if I have correctly interpreted what the image is showing. Also, I'm not sure where this should go in the article. Augurar (talk) 07:39, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- I oppose using this image because it is not clear what it is supposed to depict, when viewed by a layperson. An schematic diagram of the function of trichomes would possibly be appropriate, but only insofar as it would be illustrative of their function to a layperson reader. PPdd (talk) 18:20, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
- This could be illustrative if given a good caption. Unfortunately, as I stated above, I myself do not know what the image is supposed to illustrate. But it certainly shows something, so it has potential usefulness. Augurar (talk) 17:59, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Table
editDoes the table need removing? Damoloces (talk) 15:01, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- The content from the table should be integrated into the rest of the article as text. After that, a revised version of the table may be useful as a summary, or it could just be deleted. Augurar (talk) 07:41, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Xeromorphic?
editDoes xeromorphic apply to both adaptations to physiology and morphology, or just to morphology? That article as written implies the former. PPdd (talk) 18:18, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

ξηρός xeros dry, φυτόν phuton plant
editgreek original words (ξηρός, φυτόν) inserted into the etymological description. also added '-s' at the ending of 'xeros' as this seems to be the correct form, but if im wrong, please change it to 'xero' as it was before, thugh then the greek form 'ξηρός' needs also to be shortened to 'ξηρό-' to keep it consistent. (source used for the above:https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/xero-). 176.63.176.112 (talk) 07:52, 13 May 2017 (UTC).
Class project
editHi, I am editing this page for my Science Communication module. I spent quite some time adding links to about 80% of the words on the article only to find out about overlinking. I would greatly appreciate any comments or suggestions on what aspects I should add to the article. I am currently looking at some lecture slides from my university lecturer, and looking at old research articles. Nisalisan (talk) 02:18, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
Fixing the table
editHello! Can anyone fix the table on the page? I'm not sure which markup code is wrong. I'll continue to try and will edit this section once it's fixed. Nisalisan (talk) 20:26, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
- Fixed it :) Nisalisan (talk) 20:33, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
