Removal of Non-Encyclopedic Content

edit

I removed these sections (last edit with them in it: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Winamac,_Indiana&oldid=447972819)

I feel they have very little encyclopedic content. I do feel that Power of the Past could be respectfully mentioned in the article, or that the Isis movie theater has existed in the same location since 1936 if there were sources for that. If anyone has time/resource to articulate these appropriately that would be nice. --nezZario (talk) 22:07, 12 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Restaurants Winamac, Indiana offers a variety of restaurants to choose from, whether you are looking for a sit down experience or a fast food experience. Fast food venues in Winamac include McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Arbys, Dairy Queen, and Subway(attached to a gas station). Sit down choices include, Kostas-a local family diner, Vicky’s-known for their breakfast, Poblano's-a local Mexican restaurant, Chinawok-a local Chinese restaurant, Pizza King, and Cruzers.

Entertainment For a small town, Winamac offers a variety of entertainment. The Isis movie theater has existed in the same location since 1936. This theater offers a limited number of show times, but ticket prices are extremely reasonable. The theater even offers a 3-D experience. For even more affordable entertainment, a RedBox was recently put in near the local CVS. Overnight DVD rentals are only one dollar, creating affordable entertainment for all. Winamac also offers a well kept town park. Different events are held at the town park throughout the year, including the Power From the Past Show. Power From the Past is a show that features both John Deere and International Harvester tractors. Along with the tractors featured at the festival, there are daily events, food vendors, and a flea market to keep guests entertained.

For some reason this URL here, without the "XXX" in the URL, was in the external links: http://www.vicXXXtoryrecords.com/tours/artist/islander

I have no idea why. I am just noting this here because ... Am I missing something? I don't see how this has anything to do with Winamac.
