I contribute mainly at Wikimedia Commons to identify and categorise subjects of media files. Recent categorisation of aviation-related images from Library of Congress (LOC) Library led me to images quoting "Thomas R Shipp", some of which also quote "Wm M. Lewis" (or truncated name), eg this one from 1923? :

This might be a suitable source for William Mather Lewis if anyone can help ID him as one of the men in any of the relevant LOC images. I base this candidacy on the image time frames, and suggestions of academic and public notoriety. Also, the connections with Coolidge and Taft might be significant. There are other candidate images at Commons, if we search for "Wm. M. Lewis".PeterWD (talk) 11:30, 10 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
PS Images and other refs via Google appear to confirm that the Commons images are indeed William Mather Lewis, so I'll go ahead and put them into a new category of that name. I'll leave it to others to choose suitable ones for inclusions in this article. PeterWD (talk) 11:43, 10 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
