The section with schools and leisure and recreation are not at all neutral. It reads like an advertisement for Westborough. Stvspl 03:42, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
The education section reads just fine. More details in this paragraph than most others. Good job! Its good to know education in America is still intact in some regions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.246.0.14 (talk) 15:20, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
T-Squared Records
editThe removal of my edits about T-Squared Records I don't get. Do you not remember the album Don't Play With The Ducks in 2009? That album was 🔥🔥🔥 and it came from T-Squared Records. Remember Eskimo Friday, the wild listening party at the swimming pool of the T-Squared World Headquarters? T-Squared! What about the I Care About Nature Club cleanup in the woods 🌲🌳🌵🌴🌲🌳🌴🌵? Like a third of the participants of that were on the record label as either executives or as signed artists of T-Squared Records. And D the B Disco closed their record label after a 2003 petition circulated by T-Squared. And T-Squared isn't the only source of good music in this municipality. The Last Exit played at a dance in the cafeteria of Gibbons once. What bands have rocked out in YOUR cafeterias🎸? Westborough is truly a musical paradise and T-Squared had a lot to do with that, all the way from when they sent their artists to perform at the 1998 Goin Buggy Music Festival to 2014 when they sadly changed their location, and there are petitions going around for T-Squared to move their world headquarters back to Ducktown. 🎤🎤 2600:1:E500:D6:F5B5:F3FC:4EFD:A453 (talk) 15:07, 13 August 2015 (UTC)🎤
- A simple internet search turns up nothing about T-Squared Records. Due to your NUMEROUS attempts at adding the information this is now considered vandalism. You've been ignoring the notices about WP:NOTADVERTISING, Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Verifiability, and Wikipedia:No original research, yet you continue to add this information anyway. The funny thing is no one is saying you couldn't add information about T-Squared Records, it would just need to meet notability guidelines and be cited by third parties (newspapers, reputable online sources, etc.) And as of right now, it certainly does not sound like anything you've added to any of the articles have been useful contributions. There's your answer. Garchy (talk) 20:31, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- I have a source on this[1]. I've been to the T-Squared Records World Headquarters on numerous occasions and even slept in the recording studio a few times, basking in the glory of being in the place where many a fresh jam had been recorded. I was at Eskimo Friday and ate like five brownies and was in the pool of the courtyard when the wave pool, referred to by those in the know as the T-Squared Tidal Wave, got going 🌊🌊🌊🏄 It was GNAAAAAAAARLY DOOD! I got to ride in one of the record label's limousines as the lyrics to the title track of the Don't Play With The Ducks album was being written by T-Squared signed artists in the seat right next to mine, so I got to see hip hop history being made 🎤🎶🎧📼🎧🎶🎤. When we were getting breakfast the line was really long cuz everyone wanted MC Jugo's autograph ✒✏📝. I went to Club 19 to hear the first live performance of the DPWTD Tour and still have the T-shirt for the tour. I participated in the I Care About Nature Club's inaugural trail cleanup🌲🌳🌴🌵🌴🌳🌲, picking up rubbish outside the Sandra Pond Reservoir. And I even ate dinner with the CEO I mean how awesome is that? So T-Squared Records is definitely nothing less than being a thing.🎧

Town nicknames
editOkay look I'm sorry that I vandalized this article with stuff about the record label I was part of, even though it was kinda funny. I'll stop doing edits about T-Squared (until we drop an album or music video that meets Wikipedia guidelines for notability, anyway).
That being said doe, can you explain why The Dub isn't a nickname that can be added? I'm from Westborough so I know it's a nickname of this municipality that I have heard in casual conversation, where nicknames are most used. Dub being short for W, of course. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1:E440:348F:3C7F:5B76:548A:D4B2 (talk) 02:07, 19 September 2015 (UTC) 2600:1:E440:348F:3C7F:5B76:548A:D4B2 (talk) 02:09, 19 September 2015 (UTC)🎤🎤🎤

- Believe it or not you're not the only one from the area. That is not a recognized nickname just because you use it in high school, or wherever you've heard it. Instead of focusing on adding that in as a nickname you should focus on reading about WP:NOTABILITY, and if you can find "The Dub" cited in a reputable news article or history book I'll give it to you (and it's not there). Also, you won't be taken seriously on Wikipedia if you're going to constantly vandalize and then try and tell us that you're all of a sudden trying to make a "constructive edit". We don't buy it. - Well okay, I concede and shall stop pointing out the nickname of my hometown and that my record label is 🔥🔥🔥. But how notable does T-Squared Records have to be before I can make an article about us on Wikipedia? It's hard to find writing about us when our official magazine Elemental Microphones has been looking for an editor in chef since a year ago when we left our world headquarters and not having a world headquarters makes it hard for us to organize tours, hold listening parties and do philanthropy with such organizations as the I Care About Nature Club and the Shieldmeet Shrine Restoration Committee. The struggle is real and I hope when MC Jugo kicks off his Tomorrow Today tour in Iqaluit, Canada (or Marlborough, MA if we can find a venue there for MC Jugo to spit his dope rhymes 🎤🔊😎) that'll get T-Squared's show back on the road like in the glory days when we released Don't Play With The Ducks 🚍! As I said, you won't see any more of me here until I find a source to cite on Westborough having The Dub as its nickname or until T-Squared is notable, but how notable do we and the rhymes of T-Squared signed artists have to be before we get a Wikipedia article?

Education section
editThe education section needs many citations, especially for the statistical claims about graduation rates and college attendance, as well as the part about Chapter 70 funding. It also reads just a bit like an advertisement. I grew up in Westborough, and it really is a great school system, but this section just isn't up to Wikipedia's standards. --Dscush (talk) 00:36, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
