No consensus for proposed move, resulting to reversion to status quo ante title, Wednesday Night Rivalry. bd2412 T 18:28, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
Wednesday Night Hockey (U.S. TV program) → Wednesday Night Hockey (2013 TV program) – Insufficient disambiguation. The U.S. broadcaster ESPN once had their own version of Wednesday Night Hockey (see ESPN National Hockey Night#1992–2004). Instead of doing a bold move myself, I'm opening this for discussion (particularly for those editors more familiar with various WP:NCTVUS-related RM discussions) due to the fact that this is currently the only entry on the Wednesday Night Hockey disambiguation page that has an actual detailed article (all the other ones are links to sections to more summary style pages). Thus the current title/status quo may in fact be appropriate for this case. Please note that I would be opposed to having a general primary topic for "Wednesday Night Hockey" because of the equally popular Canadian counterpart on Sportsnet. And that under WP:NCTVUS, a title like Wednesday Night Hockey (NBCSN TV program) listing the broadcaster NBCSN is deprecated. Zzyzx11 (talk) 03:28, 15 August 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. - Comment: I must admit I'm a little ambivalent on this one... Yes, there are multiple Wednesday Night Hockey programs, but none of the others actually use "Wednesday Night Hockey" in their article titles. (Indeed, the ESPN one is just a redirect...) Further, I'm wondering why this one shouldn't be WP:NATURALDIS'ed by moving it to its original title Wednesday Night Rivalry – that would seem to solve the issue entirely. (And then Wednesday Night Hockey (2013 TV program) can simply be a redirect.) --IJBall (contribs • talk) 16:26, 16 August 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - From what I read on the ESPN article, its show was never Wednesday Night Hockey, but it was a weekly show with a Sunday, Wednesday and Friday editions and during the last year a Thursday only edition. I see this more as a "Night Hockey" or even "... Night Hockey" (this latter one isn't used in articles afaik), as none of the daily editions would be notable on their own. I'd also oppose IJball's suggestion as I've never believed previous names should be used over current names. --Gonnym (talk) 11:46, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
- Comment. The stable title in the case of a "no consensus" outcome is Wednesday Night Rivalry. That was the title until a day before this move request was opened. The article states that the new title will be put into effect for the 2018-19 hockey season, which has not yet begun. Dekimasuよ! 19:53, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose current proposal, support move to Wednesday Night Rivalry. This seems like the best of the available current options, IMO. This can be revisited next year. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 17:43, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

Wednesday Night Hockey (American TV program) → Wednesday Night Rivalry – First, this will revert the undiscussed page move made in 2020, two years after the above first RM in 2018. More importantly, the NBCSN sports channel no longer operates, and TNT now has the rights to "Wednesday Night Hockey" in the US. Thus, this NBCSN version should be at the natural disambiguation "Wednesday Night Rivalry" title that it had for most of its run. As for where Wednesday Night Hockey (American TV program) should then redirect to, I am neutral on whether it should be turned into a primary redirect to NHL on TNT or simply redirect to the disambiguation page Wednesday Night Hockey#United States. - I wonder if this results list should be scrapped and then any notable content merged into NHL on NBC in lieu of a page move. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 06:41, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- With regards the issue of scrapping or merging content, NHL Game of the Week and Sunday Night Hockey are other defunct NHL on NBC series in the same

- The target should not redirect to the new version regardless. At most it should redirect to a disambiguation page after fixing links. Gonnym (talk) 16:29, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
