Signal
editIn the last few months, WAEBs signal is being stepped on north of Route 22 by AM 790 CIGM from Ontario. This is especially noticeable in early morning (4-6 AM), but also occurs after 5PM.
This is unusual, in that AEB's signal is lost along Rte 33 (south of Wind Gap) during these times; has either CIGM upped their wattage or has WAEB cut theirs?

- I don't know whether it was deliberate or accidental, but CIGM was, for a time, not cutting its nighttime signal from 50K to 10K as it's supposed to. NERW has some mention of this in its archives. Bearcat (talk) 19:24, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
I worked at WAEB when I was a student at William Allen High School (1970-1972). Was an intern hired by Jay Sands. Also worked with Joe McLaine. We played top 40 then, and did remotes at the Allentown YMCA "HUB" dances on saturday nights. Was also the "High School Hotline" reporter at William Allen, and during the summers was the "Poolside Reporter" at Cedar Beach. Bwmoll3 (talk) 14:24, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Impressive Article
editThe Article is impressive and deserves more than the 'low' ratings given years ago (2007, 2009). Also impressive are the pages on the radio station website, including the public services of their main local talk show host, Bobby Gunther Walsh! The rest of the talk show line up is also impressive, as is their radio station staff. [1] Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 12:43, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
