Vycor is also the name of a company that sold (or still does - I'm not sure) the DP Umbrella software package. DP Umbrella was (or still is) a mainstream help desk and asset management application used by companies such as toy-giant Mattel, inc. Perhaps a disambiguation page is in order. Stub to Start

edit

Article was moved from Stub to Start status because it has a significant amount of information and multiple references. In addition, the main article has not had a Stub tag for some time. Araesmojo (talk) 22:17, 23 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

When did this start being manufactured?

edit

I found a 1961 article that used Vycor here:

H.S. Johnson, Reactions in a fluidized coke bed with self-resistive heating, Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering. 39 (1961) 145–147. https://doi.org/10.1002/cjce.5450390309

I thought it would be interesting to note when this was started to be used, as an information piece for the user, but I did not find (or look for) this information. Patate324 (talk) 16:22, 21 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
