Fair use rationale for Image:Deebo in friday.jpg
editImage:Deebo in friday.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Was he in "Remember the Time"?
editThe Michael Jackson-video.. I thought I saw him in it, as one of the guards who is searching for Jackson when he escapes. More specifically, I think he's the guy who looks in a wicker basket at about 4:40 in the video.KnatLouie (talk) 21:16, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
WCW and WWF Run
editIn WWF he never won a match did he not win a match in WCW (WorldSeriesOfPoker500 (talk) 03:23, 26 October 2011 (UTC))
Blindness
editThe article states he is blind in one of his eyes, but doesn't explain why. Was he born blind in the eye or was it the result of an accident/medical condition? 70.72.211.35 (talk) 04:49, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Lister's birth place
editPer this post at the Biographies of living persons Noticeboard, Mr. Lister was apparently not born in Arkansas. The Encyclopedia of Arkansas has removed the entry for him at his request. See [1]. Thus, there is now no reference for him having been born there, unless someone can find another equally reliable source. I'd suggest removing the place of birth from the article text and infobox and in the text simply state that he grew up in Compton California. He has also denied that he is from Arkansas in a video interview on YouTube [2]. Voceditenore (talk) 15:19, 3 July 2015 (UTC)
- This has been stagnant here for some time. I think a lot of the comments have been about changing it based on sources (such as the VladTV video) where Lister goes on about where he grew up and what schools he attended and being a teenager growing up alongside Tookie Williams, et al. The important thing to note is that where someone grew up is immaterial to where they were born. Unless a source comes along that definitively states "so and so was born there and there" any argument based on the lines of where they spent their childhood is moot. - There's no reference for him being born in Arkansas and he denies it himself. Per WP:BLP, the unreferenced claim has been deleted. Kindzmarauli (talk) 19:52, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
- Correction: the "Encyclopedia of Arkansas" link that was originally used to reference this was deleted, and in viewing the archived version, it was sourced from IMDB. WP:BLP is clear that unreferenced or poorly references controversial information must be deleted and I've done this, please stop reintroducing BLP violations. Years active
editIf his years active end date as an actor says 2020, then why is his final film role saying 2017? MikaelaArsenault (talk) 09:19, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

Actor/wrestler/track star. Over 200 acting credits as a character actor. Just died. Worked on WP:ITN. It got rejected in a perverse exercise of ITN. ITN nomination is dead. Perverse result due to sourcing issues. I had similar experiences with Dr. John and Neil Peart. Large articles and prolific important artists; who got willfully ignored at ITN because the vast list of their works did not have sourcing that satisfied the cabal. And both of them got a huge amount of views. But this article got 181,698 views in the last five days here. Popular article. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 14:45, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
