The text added by 24.172.26.90 (the bulk of the article) has been removed, because it appears to have been lifted verbatim from the newspaper's site here, and would therefore likely be a copyright violation. Unless the copyright holder gives permission, the material may not be used on Wikipedia unless sufficiently paraphrased to avoid copyright violation. I have added several new sources and additional content. This is an important article for the history of North Carolina, since it is the oldest newspaper in the state. If anyone has a copy of the paper, please add the current staff.
