Merge Shato Turks with Shatuo Turks.
editEditor AlefZet suggested to merge Shato Turks with Shatuo Turks. Please also note that suggested title Shatuo Turks has 3 major flaws:
- First and second, it suggests to replace the self-name "Shato" of a people with 100,000 Google hits by a colloquial exoethnonym (my guess is it is a Chinese version) with phonetics of "Shatuo" that brings only 6,000 Google hits,
- and third it includes the word Turks that is not a part of the self-name, akin to British Germans or Russian Eskimo.
My offer is to merge both articles into one with a plain title "Shato". Disambiguation page would be needed for shato - pavillion, and Shato - people. --Barefact (talk) 17:25, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Fine, if everyone agrees I'd like to make an effort to merge the articles under Shato--Joostik (talk) 19:56, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- I think Shato or Shato Turks should be mreged to Shatuo Turks. See Talk:Shatuo Turks. --Pengyanan (talk) 06:41, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- At least no one objects to a merger as such? Then I'll make this a redirect.--Joostik (talk) 22:22, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
