edit

I'm not disputing the statement about the origin of sequins per se, but the casual implication that the Persian Gulf is near the Mediterranean. Measured in Google Earth, the shortest distance between these two bodies of water is 1300km, a substantial distance. I think that "Levant" would be the correct word to use here, both geographically and in terms of cultural history. 58.96.126.8 (talk) 15:07, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Spangles and Paillettes

edit

On the one hand, the article says spangles and paillettes are different, on the other hand, "spangle" and "paillette" redirect to the article. That's confusing. 2001:981:4B0C:1:DAA2:5EFF:FE8E:C8D8 (talk) 21:50, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Car Wash Sequins

edit

Especially since they have off-center holes, I think this widely-used term (partly because of its use in Saturday Night Live television scenery) should appear on this page. Stagehand (talk) 14:44, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

How many sequins exist

edit

The number of sequins worldwide is unknown to me, I’d like to know. I cannot find any information elsewhere. 2601:18C:8083:5EB0:653F:D145:5A36:78E8 (talk) 00:09, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
