This page is about Saro people - not Aguda or Amaro
editI am proposing the removal of all references to the Aguda/Amaro people from this page (except for 'See also') as these resettled Afro-Brazilians are not connected to the Saro people. Their histories and post-slavery ethnogenesis are largely unrelated, other than their probable Yoruba or broader Nigerian ancestry. This is not unique since a large proportion of former enslaved Africans in the diaspora also have ancestral roots from this region. An encyclopedia is expected to provide factual, direct and focused information consistent with the page title. The Aguda/Amaro already have substantial coverage in their WP page Brazilians in Nigeria which rightly makes no reference to Saro people. I really do not see the need for their inclusion here. The merging of Amaro/Aguda with Saro appears to be a new analysis or synthesis of published material that serves to advance a position not clearly advanced by the sources. This is addressed in WP:NOR and WP:NPOV. Inamo11 (talk) 02:54, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
