"Joseph Wright Alsop V (1910–1989), gay journalist and syndicated newspaper columnist"
I was going to change that to take out the "gay," but I really don't know what's socially acceptable or politically correct today. I doubt Alsop would have liked to have been identified that way. Does referring to him as gay first of all, when nothing he wrote reflected gay concerns or a gay identity, pigeon-hole or stigmatize him or is it a pride thing? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.95.174.225 (talk) 00:12, 14 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Why does the infobox have a poorly photoshopped image of Theodore Roosevelt? There are other free images available that are far superior, some of which are already in use on Wikipedia. The image looks like a caricature of TR, apparently the creator's effort to make Wikipedia his/her personal gallery. The description at Commons states "Theodore Roosevelt Self Portrait". And here it's described as the "Theodore Roosevelt family". This is quite absurd. Get consensus before restoring this monstrosity. 75.191.40.148 (talk) 03:00, 17 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

I don't think that the list of businesses and organizations that members of the family have been involved with (recently added by Emiya1980 is appropriate here. Some of the items in the list are already included next to the individual involved, many appear to be completely unsourced. It might be appropriate to add wikilinks next to the name of someone notable for their role with, for example, the Bank of New York (as is next to Isaac Roosevelt). Input from other editors would be helpful. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 07:13, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
