"first recorded by Louis Armstrong at Okeh studios"
editThat's not exactly true. Carmichael and his Orchestra recorded the song in early 1929 but the session was rejected by the record company at the time and was only released much later on compilations. At the end of 1929 Armstrong recorded the song with Carmichael as a guest vocalist, and this version was a hit in 1932. I have CD liner notes that show all of this, but I don't know about online sources. Maybe "first released by Louis Armstrong on the Okeh label." —Preceding unsigned comment added by LowRise (talk • contribs) 15:34, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
