Linear fractional transformation will link to this page. Should we add a discussion of them here? We can draw from one of the references in this article "On a certain linear fractional transformation" by Redheffer.
It would be good to specify the connection explicitly in that article, i.e. to write what is meant by "general procedure of combining linear fractional transformations", even if you refer to this article for the details of the star product itself. — Steven G.
