Eastern Orthodox Church

edit

So Evaristus is probably venerated in the Eastern Orthodox Church as well as the Oriental Orthodox Church and the Assyrian Church of the East and the Ancient Church of the East, but I couldn't find a reliable secondary source which provides that evidence. I looked at several Eastern Orthodox calendars (Greek Orthodox and Orthodox Church in America) and neither had an entry for Evaristus or anyone matching his description, on October 26. So, if he is venerated in Orthodoxy, what is his feast day? Elizium23 (talk) 02:43, 1 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

The alleged doubt about the martyrdom of St. Evarist of the Pope

"However, in the Roman Martyrology he is listed without the martyr title, with a feast day on 26 October."
