Not known as "Peg and Cat"
editI removed "also known as 'Peg and Cat'" from the first paragraph. Some program listings mistakenly had that as the title for the first few days or so, which was later corrected. A typo is clearly not the same as an alias or alternate title. I did a search and couldn't find any reference to "Peg and Cat" rather than "Peg Cat", so I removed the sentence. -Dwimble (talk) 17:50, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
WQED producing
editTwice I have removed a statement that WQED is one of the program's producers. That station does air the program (because it airs PBS Kids) but I can't find any reference (legitimate or otherwise) that says it "produces" Peg Cat. I reverted the edits and will continue to do so if the anonymous editor keeps redoing them, unless of course someone lists a valid source. -Dwimble (talk) 18:39, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

OK try this :
This is the episode numbers, the the episodes titles, the air dates, and the source of the info for two new episodes.... how 'bout inserting that into the existing list of episodes? It is NOT "change X to Y", it is "Add X (above) to Y (episode guide)"
- Not done for now: This can't have aired on May 8, 2014 since today is only April 2, 2014... Feel free to reactivate this request once we are past the air date and it has already happened. Thanks. — {{U|Technical 13}} (t • e • c) 15:24, 2 April 2014 (UTC)

Update Request
editCould someone please update the episode list and the character list? - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 06:14, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
- I just added 8 episodes to the list, with sources. There are 10 more that I will try to add later. -Dwimble (talk) 02:34, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
- I just changed the date on #125. Tivo lists it as Season 1 Episode 22 and airing for the first time July 4. It aired July 4 on PBS Kids (KERA in Dallas is the local affiliate from which I recorded it on that date). I'm still looking for an online source for the date. I wish there was online access to whatever database Tivo uses. I assume this is actually the 22nd episode that has aired, but with production code #125.
- Oh, good. Thanks. As for the character list, I'm doing my best to find out who voiced which character and who else appeared on the show by carefully watching the credits. I will need assistance on that. - FilmandTVFan28 (talk) 05:53, 17 August 2014 (UTC)

Air date to add
editThe Magic Uke / The Rocking Out Problem just aired on PBS today at 9am EST, can a registered user add 5 March 2015 as the date?
It is a musical involving "The Queen of the Night" who Peg nicknames "Miss Nignty"
Also I think we should note that the series logo stylizes the title:
- peg cat
Even though they are character names, the P and C are lowercased.
If we are going to alter the title we may as well go with "Peg Plus Cat" since that is how my guide/PVR list it.
BTW what is the source for the numbering of the episodes? Why do they not correspond to the air dates? Are they production codes? Just wondering about the source and how reliable it is. 64.228.90.177 (talk) 14:27, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- I updated some of the dates. As for the episode numbering, that is most likely the production number (order produced). Check the sourced titles. Most episode tables have their shows listed in order of their airdates. This one should be no different, and, when I have time, I will fix it as such. Done. Regarding the series title stylization, I think it's fine as is, but your suggestions could be added in the lead as "Peg Cat (stylized as peg cat or peg plus cat)". Done. I meant to add a title image the other day and forgot. Will do that next time, as well. Done. (Sidebar: Writers and directors could be added to those that aren't done by the creators, should someone feel like watching 40 episodes and taking notes.)— Wyliepedia 05:32, 11 March 2015 (UTC) and 05:02, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

Romeo and Juliet?

Two of my favorite characters are absent from this page! I think you should make their profile like this:
Romeo and Juliet- These characters are based off of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet from William Shakespeare's original story. They often talk to each other in rhyme, and are in love with each other. It is unknown what their ages are, although it is inferred they may be adolescents.

- Are they recurring characters or just in "The Romeo and Juliet Problem"? — Wyliepedia 00:38, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
- Well, Juliet was a big character in "The Girl Group Problem", and Romeo did have a cameo appearance there, too... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.163.83.62 (talk) 23:38, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Split
editI think there should be a list of Peg Cat episodes now it's on the 2nd season. Thoughts? I think this would give room for use of the 'summary' fields in the template, which I imagine people are hesitant to do due to the space it would take up. I think we should also include the Treehouse debuts in Canada for the AltDate field unless there's another international premier that came first. Ranze (talk) 21:15, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
- Per WP:Size split and MOS:TV, this page is far from needing split. If you branch out the episode list, you lose 2/3rds of the page. It's simply easier to leave the list here for easier reading and less navigation, summaries or not. — Wyliepedia 22:14, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
Different seasonal groupings
editWe presently list the first 40 episodes as season 1.
I happened across https://www.amazon.com/Peg-Cat-Season-5/dp/B01DJVJ4NU which presents a collection of 8 episodes as 'season 5', along with a similar grouping for seasons 1-4 How does this weigh against other sources, if any, which present a larger season?
The only thing I saw was some press release about a 2nd season in 2016 but I'm wondering if that could be a mixup of 'new season' or something. Ranze (talk) 21:42, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
- I go by production code numbers, which have the first season as "1xx" and the second season as "2xx", not a distribution grouping. — Wyliepedia 22:21, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
- @CAWylie: Do you call this as distribution grouping too?:
- The site says that as of June its season 7!--Biografer (talk) 00:20, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- But, if you click on the actual episode guide tab there, it says "Season 2" for those same episodes and dates. — Wyliepedia 01:22, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- @CAWylie: Tricky, but you are right once again. Sorry for useless post and pinging. PS: I'm sorry for any undoings that I did previously, I didn't saw your earlier edits at first, but I did moved the Awards section according to your edit.--Biografer (talk) 02:42, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
