speedy deletion
editOpera 10 has been released where? There's no press release, they're only offering 9.64 to download, and their next still talks about a release candidate. Q T C 02:01, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
- I've declined the speedy deletion for the following reasons:
- The reason cited in the tag is not a valid criterion for speedy deletion.
- It is clearly not an uncontroversial deletion as required for all speedy deletions, especially those not fitting a specific criteria. Redirects for discussion is a more proper forum.
- The redirect can be easily converted into a proper article if and when there are reliable sources to base a proper article on.
- The remark "Opera wants to publish an Opera 10 article " smacks of a conflict of interest. We don't do things just because corporations want them done.

Opera Turbo Split
editI propose that the Opera Turbo section of this page be given its own page, as it was a fully-featured product with a lot more to say about it than an "advertisement-style" section in the Opera 10 article can say. For instance, how its proxy-style web hosting service works, or why it was cancelled in Opera 12. — Supuhstar * — 14:34, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- There is no need to split this article. If you wish to write an article on opera turbo then by all means just create it. If you do then obviously it may impact this article. Until such a new article is written then this article should stay as is. Op47 (talk) 17:47, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
Why a separate page for Opera 10?
editI dont get the reason behind this article.
Why there is a special article for Opera 10? Why all other versions redirect to the History of the Opera web browser? Why there is no such page as Opera 9(still widely used) or Opera 12(current)? There is a separate special page for Google Chrome for Android, nothing as such for Google Chrome for iOS I do understand there is a special need for for Opera Mini and Opera Mobile, but for me, Opera 10 is not justified. I would suggest moving relevant content to the related Opera * pages [general - web browser, mini or mobile]. This page must be blanked if there is no specific reason behind Opera 10. or else we shall have a new set of pages created monthly or quarterly like Chrome 24, Chrome 25, Firefox 20, Firefox 21. and so on. since they release pretty quick! And then a history article linking all of these. This is not how wikipedia is supposed to expand or include content. Sort of Computing & Information Technology -Bias.
