Cold-cut turkey?
editAs a Russian I can definitely state that cold-cut turkey is not a common New Year dish in Russia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leniftseff (talk • contribs) 16:39, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
Ingredients
editThere was a poll conducted by a Russian-language online popular science magazine "N 1" with 8693 respondents asked to select which ingredients they consider appropriate for the Olivier salad. The resulting data could be used for this article in some way I think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chamie (talk • contribs) 09:53, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
Name: "Russian salad"
editThe article currently states that in many countries it is known as a Russian salad. It would be useful to clarify whether this is the case in some English-speaking countries, or whether they mean that in many countries its name is however you say Russian salad in those languages (as is the case in e.g. Spanish and Catalan). If it is only the latter, then Russian salad wouldn't really be a proper translation in place of Olivier salad, whereas if it is called a Russian salad in e.g. New Zealand, you could argue for it also being a valid translation.
