Phrase "adding the solvents dichloromethane and trichloronitromethane". First solvent does not enter reaction, text implies it does or has a purpose. Not trichloronitromethane but should be 2,2,2-TriChloroNitroEthane. Trichloronitromethane is Chloropicrin which would not work in this reaction. Not mentioned was base necessary to deprotonate the nitroethane (and after losing Chloride) becoming the DiChloroNitroethylene.

The sentence "Eggs are not directly affected by nitenpyram, only after they come out. " should be rewritten. Literally, it says that the only time that eggs are not directly affected is after they are laid. Perhaps what is meant is that eggs are directly affected only after they have been laid.
