The article is incorrect. In March 2022, Nestle had promised to sell only “essential” products like baby formula into Russia. However an article by Fortune around July 2023, reports that they have continued in peddling pet foods, pralines, chocolate bars, and other items that are hardly essential.
So in the Controversies and criticisms section, and under the Russian-Ukrainian conflict subheading. Change the second and third last sentence into, In 2022, Nestlé had pledged to suspend shipment of non-essential items but will continue to sell only essential food items like infant food and medical/hospital nutrition to Russia. However an article by Fortune published in July 2023, had criticised Nestle for continuing in selling pet foods, pralines, chocolate bars, and other items that could hardly be regarded as essential.[1] 49.180.90.168 (talk) 05:44, 3 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Not done for now I'm not sure if "could hardly be regarded as essential" is the correct wording here, it sounds too opinionated. If it's been criticised publicly I'd change it to something along them lines. Please try re-wording your request then reopen it by changing the 'answered' parameter on the template to 'no' Lewcm Talk to me! 10:12, 22 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Key Facts not up to date

edit

Hello, I have never done this before, however when I browsed the top section today, I saw that some of the facts & figures given there are not up to date anymore. In particular, it says: "Nestlé has 447 factories, operates in 189 countries, and employs around 339,000 people."

When double checking with the Nestlé at a glance page (https://www.nestle.com/about/overview), it says: - 340 factories - operates in 188 countries - approx. 270,000 employees

Would it be possible to update this information? 194.147.52.100 (talk) 10:47, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
