Conflicting eyewitness accounts
editIt's mentioned in the AP News article on this. It seems that some witnesses saw only the bus tires bursting.
There's likely going to be more mention of this in Brazilian sources, but I don't speak Portuguese, sorry. Yo.dazo (talk) 18:48, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
- I wonder do you have the link to that source? It's unusual, in any road traffic accident, for all witnesses to see everything that happened? How does that constitute any "conflict"? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:58, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
- I'm doing it. The event is in almost all Brazilian journals. ArionStar (talk) 19:01, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
- Per ME123, any copper will tell ye that no witnesses ever agree on most things :) --SerialNumber54129A New Face in Hell 19:28, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Serial Number 54129 It... therefore follows that you wait for the official investigation to piece together the series of events, but until then note that there's no agreement yet as to what exactly happened. Yo.dazo (talk) 19:42, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
- Yo.dazo, most articles on vehicle collisions start with no official report conclusions. If we always waited for those, sometimes we'd be waiting for years. So I'm not sure that prevents this being posted at ITN. What again is the conflict in witness accounts? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:02, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
- The granite block is being weighed, let's wait for the further information… ArionStar (talk) 20:18, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not sure any eyewitness accounts are going to help with that. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:23, 23 December 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, but there're surviving witnesses… ArionStar (talk) 03:21, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- The police are asking for visual estimates of the weight of the granite block? Martinevans123 (talk) 09:35, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- No, their suspicions are based on the receipts found. ArionStar (talk) 16:20, 24 December 2024 (UTC)

Rodovia Regis Bittencourt
editThis highway is no longer the "highway of death" for a long time. Currently it is a road with 4 or 6 lanes, several tunnels, and excellent maintenance. 2804:7F4:32C1:AFAE:D128:232F:5833:1696 (talk) 07:20, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

Minas Gerais road crash → 2024 Minas Gerais road crash – as per WP:NCWWW RodRabelo7 (talk) 17:51, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
Oppose per WP:NCWWW#Road and rail; no disambiguation, unnecessary. ArionStar (talk) 19:32, 28 December 2024 (UTC)- I'm convinced. ArionStar (talk) 02:26, 31 December 2024 (UTC)

- Support. WP:NCE mandates that we include when, where and what. This shouldn't be controversial. — Amakuru (talk) 17:40, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- Done. ArionStar (talk) 02:17, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
