Bias

The article presents both a personal political bias and error in the following statement: "The symbol of the meander is considered to be a greek trademark, although it was altered and used by nationalists of Europe, degrading by this way its original meaning and value".

The meander, first of all, is only used by Greek nationalists -- and not, as the article alleges, by a number of various European nationalists. Secondly, aside from its use as an ornamental pattern in art and architecture, its only significance and value is as a symbol of Greek nationalism; there is no other "original meaning and value" outside of that. Finally, to state that its use by nationalists constitutes a degradation implies that nationalists and nationalism are debased which is clearly a personal socio-political bias of the author, not to mention quite offensive. As two months have passed and no action has been taken to remove the aforementioned bias to give the article a neutral point of view, I have taken it upon myself to make the relevant changes. Critias 04:01, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

I was going to move the section to this talk page because it was broken on my browser as well, but since there have been others who have comment on the same thing and nothing has been done about it, I'll just leave it cut out. Yes pls start with the "A typical Attic red-figure cup with meander pattern at borders, by the Eretria Painter, c. 440–435 BC, red-figure pottery, Louvre" bcs it is wrongly labeled or fake because the meandros there is one the byzantine era(330–1453) invented one(is what is called a "broken" type) and in the names writing two of the three sigmas (Σ) are stigmas(ϟ) which back then it meant a pause in rhythm or singing then is the first sigma is an latin s(S) which they were not used in Greek instead of sigmas unless it was the last letter in a word writing but it started to be used instead of sigmas in also the byzantine era. And ask someone else on what is wrong with both of them on what they are even holding, I don't have time for this it is too obvious.
