--Controversy (or not)-- "Controversy
March of Dimes uses money raised from this fund-raising event to fund animal testing.[4][5] "In 2002, the March of Dimes spent at least $10 million on experiments involving animals."[5]"
This is not even slightly controversial. Every charity which raises money for medical research will be contributing funds towards animal research, because this is how new medical products are created. In many countries products won't even be licensed for use unless they have been tested on animals, including humans.
