I still don't get it.
editI was reading about Lybel in the news and looked on here to find out more. Now I'm not trying to insult anyone, but since I know almost nothing about birth control this article feels like jargon to me. Take the following:
"Lybel is the first oral contraceptive to be administered 365 days per year, and not in 28-day cycles like other oral contraceptives."
I have no idea what 28-day cycles means, except that it probably goes along with the menstruation cycle. And besides, I always thought that women on the pill took one every day. I know I must be mistaken, but I'm nowhere closer to knowing what it means. Maybe there should be links to other forms of birth control for comparison. --Trakon 16:31, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I see where you are coming from. I mean, the gist of it is there: no more bleeding, etc., etc., but it could certainly use clarification. I too came to this article after hearing about it on the news and was surprised at it's lack of attention. In a month this'll probably be a fine article. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the subject to expand this article. —oac old american century talk @ 19:14, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Considering the above comments, I went ahead and merged this with the Seasonale article rather than proposing a merge and leaving the article in its current status. I really believe an umbrella article is in a better position to provide the kind of information the previous commentors were looking for. Lyrl Talk C 22:28, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
