Talk:Kinect Adventures!
sales
editthe Kinect has sold more than 10 million units, and Kinect Adventures is a pack-in game for it; so has Kinect Adventures sold 10 million units? making it the best selling game on Xbox 360?SCB '92 (talk) 21:35, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
"as such it is worth noting that Call of Duty: Black Ops has sold the most units independent of being bundled with the sale of an Xbox 360 console."
someone less lazy than me should change this line now that its no longer true 118.93.0.122 (talk) 12:44, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
Details on scoring
editMore details are needed on the scoring in the games. The manual is pathetically scant in this regard. For example, I am trying to work out how to get the best score in RallyBall. This is a really deep game and I have found some strategies for maximizing the score but I am still vague on a few basics such as:
- does the ball always take out one brown block? Sometimes it appears to get 2 and sometimes none but his may be an illusion due to the way the ball bounces off the wall
- the "fire" ball travels faster but does it do more damage?
- it seems that you have more control of the direction when you hit the fireball - not sure?
- there are several special objects that seem to produce more balls (sometimes red and sometimes white/orange). What are the exact details?
- are there differences in the behaviour of the red and white/orange balls. (The red balls seem to be slightly better to me.)
- How does time out affect your score?
- At what point do you beat the timeout - when last block destroyed or when all balls have finished?
- can you get a block when it has flipped back parallel to the wall - I have tried to do this many times without success.
- Does hitting the final orange balls (that just evaporate) give you extra points?
- Any strategies - eg I find when all blocks are on one side then serving from that side is more accurate, or hit a fire ball at a sharp angle so it bounces on the walls and gets behind the blocks.
Someone must have this information, at least the original programmers.
