Jules Adolphe Aimé Louis Breton → Jules Breton — Per WP:NAMEPEOPLE, the name of a biographical article should be the most common and most generally recognisable name of the person. As far as I'm concerned, that's unquestionably "Jules Breton" rather than "Jules Adolphe Aimé Louis Breton". --MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 03:13, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

This move seems uncontroversial to me, but rather than just boldly moving a relatively prominent page, I figured I'd see if there are any opposing opinions. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 03:13, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

He can be confused with Jules-Louis Breton, and he also has a Louis as a middle name, which is why this page includes all his middle names. Jules Breton does redirect to this page, however.

I've added a hatnote to deal with any potential confusion. It still remains that the article should be titled using the most common name of the person. At WP:COMMONNAME, a search engine test is mentioned. Using the suggested settings (restrict the results to pages written in English, and exclude the word "Wikipedia"), Google produces about 25,500 hits for "Jules Breton‎" but only finds 94 pages for "Jules Adolphe Aimé Louis Breton‎". Comment by actor Bill Murray about The Song Of The Lark

Reported in the "i" newspaper, "Caught&Social" section, UK, Wednesday 12th. February 2014. At the London premier of the film Monument Men, "...Bill Murray revealed that seeing Jules Breton's painting The Song Of The Lark as a young man stopped him from killing himself. "I think that gave me some sort of feeling that I too am a person, and I get another chance every day the sun comes up" said the 63-year old".
