I came to this article, trying to figure out why this congressional election in 1902 was the test case for the voter restrictions in the Virginia Constitution of 1902, which was never submitted for ratification as promised, but took effect anyway. Well, this article doesn't note any problems with his re-election, nor mention any problems with Readjusters or John S. Wise who handled the lawsuits, nor even mention Lamb as being part of the Staples/Martin/Byrd organization. But Virginia history/genealogy libraries are closed or with very restricted hours due to Covid, and I have other responsibilities, so I write this note.Jweaver28 (talk) 01:46, 12 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
