This page needs renaming. It means "city centre". Every (German) city has an "Innere Stadt", the suggested new name is "Innere Stadt, Vienna" --213.164.3.90
Given that we have Gürtel (Vienna), it should become "Innere Stadt (Vienna)". However, all Vienna districts are currently named simply by their district name on Wikipedia. Until we actually have an article on, say, Innere Stadt (Graz) or Innere Stadt (Wiener Neustadt), (which I plan to add sometime), renaming it will only cause confusion. --Darkbane12:27, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I found this page from one on the history of Vienna which discussed the cite of the ancient Roman military camp in the First District of the city. I looked to this page to see if a street map of the First District was pictured. Is one available to add to this page? -[ Jaedglass, at 01:34, 5 August 2007]

12-Dec-2008: I have expanded the "References" section, noting translation from German Wikipedia, adding the official website, and copying references from the German Wikipedia. In 2008, English Wikipedia continued to have unscreened articles, so verification is heavily dependent on listing the references, which are intended as "the source" of reliability for readers. -Wikid77 (talk) 12:17, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
