General

Surta must be Şurta (from Arabic Šurţa). Subaşı was the head of the Ottoman Police force, not the name of the police force itself

This section has been copied from my site (http://warriorsoul.4t.com) without permission. In order to adopt a more constructive way of action than removing the whole table, I simply added a link to my site in the "Sources" section. I am a researcher on the defence industries and accurately keep track of the changes in the inventory. I spend a lot of time and effort on updating the information provided and I am happy to see that a growing number of people are making use of it. However, I would highly appreciate it if people who use the information elsewhere would at least provide a link to my web site as the source. Should you wish to contact me personally, kindly follow the "Contact" link in my site.

Thank you.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Gendarmerie General Command. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Orphaned references in Gendarmerie General Command

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Gendarmerie General Command's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "hrw":

  • From Modern equipment of the Turkish Land Forces: "reports/2000/uslm/USALM007-04". hrw.org. Retrieved 5 September 2015.
  • From Turkey: "Still critical". 17 (2). Human Rights Watch. March 2005: 3. Retrieved 2007-09-12. {{cite journal}}: Cite journal requires |journal= (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 01:58, 6 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
