Fenerbahce have won 87 official titles (Their last cup was the Super Cup in 2009, this is not included in the list)

Galatasaray have won 79 official titles.

Since when Spor Toto or Donanma are official Titels? Its like winning the Gazi Efes Cup. I just included active competions.Sercangs (talk) 09:56, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

The TFF counted those titles as official in that days. Redman19 (talk) 15:21, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Every nation in the world counts all the titles from the foundation of their football federation, I think its time that you guys stop hiding the truth about this. 188.202.146.57 (talk) 15:26, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Any source about the TFF issue? Whaht about Union Club Cup from 1914 or Gazi Büstü Cup or 50. Yil Cup?

IMO Only League and Cup competions should be counted. Look at Lisbon Derby. Only active competitions are counted. No Taça do Império, Ribeiro dos Reis Cup etc. Sercangs (talk) 15:50, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Well ok if we only count national championships like Milli Kume, Turkiye futbol sampiyonasi and the Super Lig Fenerbahce would have 26 titles, the most titles in Turkey, just like Ajax, Bayern, Liverpool, Real Madrid etc.

But Sercan I dont want a revert war with you, I leave the page like you want it, be happy. Redman19 (talk) 16:55, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

We can count Milli Küme, Türkiye Sampiyonasi etc. But IMO not cups like Spor Toto, TSYD, Unicon Club, Atatürk Büstü, 50. Yil, Donanma Sercangs (talk) 17:53, 18 August 2010 (UTC)~Reply

Hmm so you accept that Fenerbahce has in fact 26 titels? Redman19 (talk) 20:11, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Does the TFF accepted it? :) And BTW who would be the " turkish champion" of 1940. Fener or Eskisehir Demir SK? And 1941: BJk or Genclerbirlgi. And 1944: Fener or BJK etc. BTW does the classic Fener kit have a collar? Sercangs (talk) 13:49, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I dont think you know the Ulusoy story do you? Redman19 (talk) 15:37, 19 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Like in basketball and Voleyball the tournaments between the champions of the 3 big cities are not counted as "Turkish championship". Sercangs (talk) 14:27, 20 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Honour page is revised according to the domestic competitions both teams played. There is no sense to add international tournaments where teams never competed against each other. This page is about the rivalry between two clubs, not about what they achieved separately somewhere else. Besides, the two international cups Galatasaray won were already mentioned in a previous section while the one Fenerbahçe won was never mentioned, maybe needs to be. Also there is truly no concrete proof about the supporter population of the two clubs. Please stop putting surveys among 2000 people from weird companies who are only after media and fan attraction. Jodien37! This is not your homepage nor Antu! Do not delete anything from this page. I have to warn you. If you do that again, I' ll do something you do not like.Sultaniman (talk) 13:05, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just look at El Clasico or other Derbies. Defunct titles are not counted while international are counted.Sercangs (talk) 13:09, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Look at El Clasico yourself! All the statistics are head-to-head, which means games between the two teams only, both domestic and international. Do we have a FB-GS matchup on international level? No. It is simple as that. This not a GS fan page. You can celebrate your cup elsewhere. Jodien37 (talk) 08:06, 22 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
