Fair use rationale for Image:FC Unirea Urziceni.gif

edit

Image:FC Unirea Urziceni.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Correction proposal

edit

It is said in the article that Unirea are already champions and that they will participate in the UEFA Champions League Group Stage. This in fact is not true, as FC Timisoara are waiting the decision to see if they will get back their 6 points that have been deducted. If they get their points back, the championship will be decided in the final match day, if not, Unirea are champions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.47.179.229 (talk) 23:44, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

What does "Fotbal Club Unirea Voluntari Urziceni" mean in Romanian? I suspect it is something like Urziceni Voluntary Union/Voluntarily United Football Club. Am I close? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.102.113.194 (talk) 08:26, 19 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Remove links to made for adsense sites, and old blogs which are returning 404. Add link to point to the impartial, factual portal for liga 1 at liga1.gamebookers.com - link should point to club page for relevancy. adrian recordings (talk) 00:31, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

History in the highest Romanian league

edit

The article claims that Unirea finished seventh in the 2007-08 Romanian League. That's wrong since they finished 5th. (source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007–08_Liga_I) Also in the 2010-11 season their 17th place would only have kept them in the top flight because three higher finishing squads (including Timisoara would had finished second in points) failed to secure their top-flight license as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.99.22.105 (talk) 20:06, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
