Chopped sentence
editRemoved statement: Pope John Paul II warned that gays would be running naked through the Vatican it didn't happen.
What he actually said was more like: In the name of the Church of Rome, I must express sadness for the affront to the great jubilee of the year 2000 and the offence to Christian values of a city that is so dear to the heart of Catholics of the whole world
Not as colourful, I know, but we can't just make this stuff up! ~ Veledan • Talk new 22:32, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
Europride or EuroPride?
editSkinnyweed 17:37, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- I just came here to ask the same question. Almost every news site I've looked at has "EuroPride". However, a key factor is how the official organisers refer to the event, and unfortunately it is not at all clear to me who the organisers are. Several websites are shown in the External links section so it is highly confusing. Can anyone assist in this?--81.96.190.135 (talk) 19:31, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
EPOA awards EuroPride http://www.europride.info. The correct capitalization is EuroPride --Truthmonkey (talk) 09:57, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
Europride 1996
editThe article claims that Europride 1996 ended with a financial surplus. As I remember it, the following years of pride in Copenhagen was seriously hampered by the fact that the organizers behind Europride 1996 more or less went bankrupt. 83.93.57.40 18:50, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
WorldPride
editworldpride diverts here. They are seperate events. Can the divert be removed? A new page setup? There is a World Pride 2012 divert which should become a section of WorldPride. Is this best done as a subst:move - I cant find advice on how to go about agreeing a divert remove?
Also the paragraph on WorldPride is rather incorrect. EPOA rules state that a WorldPride in Europe will be granted the title of EuroPride that year, to save a competition. This is not an InterPride rule as they do not aware EuroPride. --Truthmonkey (talk) 14:23, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
I think I've answered my own question via the help system. I have added an RFD tag, and listed the article in Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion --Truthmonkey (talk) 14:30, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
RFD was approved and the divert removed. --Truthmonkey (talk) 10:47, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
