Malta
editShouldn't Malta be considered as an African state? The islands are on the African continental plate and the languege is closed related to North African Arabic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BernhardSchmalhofer (talk • contribs) 12:31, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
- @BernhardSchmalhofer: But they are Catholic, speak English, have a colonial relationship with the UK, have a lot of history with Italy, etc. Ultimately, I think that Maltese think of themselves as European, Europeans think of them as European (e.g. they are in the EU), and Africans don't think of them as African. ―Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 19:48, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
